Day for Kids September 25, 2010 Every year, Americans celebrate Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and even Groundhog’s Day. The City of Santa Clarita thinks it time to honor children by celebrating a “Day for Kids.” Families in Santa Clarita will enjoy a free kid’s carnival, open to the public on Saturday, September 25, from 12 noon to 5 p.m. at Newhall Park. Festival of the Arts October 2-3, 2010 Stroll along Old Town Newhall's Arts and Entertianment District to enjoy the Santa Clarita Festival of the Arts, presented by Lockheed Federal Credit Union. All weekend enjoy visual, multimedia, and alternative artisans create a work of art from conception to completion.
